The Bible shows us that God follows a certain pattern in the way he speaks to humanity generally, and you and me specifically. Knowing his methods helps us, like Jesus, discern where in our lives to look for his actions and how to hear his instructions.

The Holy Spirit works with our personalities and temperaments, because he made them for a purpose. The Holy Spirit surrounds you with love, try to meditate on this verse, concentrating on each word in turn, until you can sense his movement in your heart.

When is the Holy Spirit unleashed in my life? How long does it take? What will happen if you allow the Holy Spirit continuous access, a continuous unleashing, of his slow, gentle word? The Holy Spirit wants to be unleashed into all of the areas of our lives. Although his power is matchless, he works slowly and gently, with (not despite) our personalities and temperament’s, current circumstances and relationships, and spiritual development. The patterns in our circumstances and relationships show me where the Holy Spirit is working and wants us to cooperate with him. When the Holy Spirit is unleashed, the dead are raised, prayers are always answered, and dry bones live. Breathe here is “spirit”. The Holy Spirit, through the word, is unleashed.
