Looking to start your own altar, but not sure about what you need? Have a lot of herbs and crystals, but no ritual place to use them?

Alternative Imagination is excited to bring you our standard Altar Supply Kit to help provide some of the basics so you can create your own sacred space.

Each kit is intended to provide some basic elements used in a wiccan altar, and a booklet that explains each item and its uses.

Set up your sacred space using the Altar Cloth, purify your self and space before important rituals, and call upon your deities to assist you.

What’s included in this kit?

Deity Candles

These candles represent the deities one may choose to worship. Typically one is for a Goddess, and the other one for a God.Many Wiccans may differentiate God and Goddess by decorating these candles with different colors, charms, or anointing with essential oils. Sometimes statues accompany the candles to help enhance the setting. The God is typically placed to the top left of the altar and the Goddess on the top right.

These candles are 9″ tall.

California White Sage & Palo Santo Incense

4” California White Sage: Purify your space, self, or sacred items of unwanted energies before or during important rituals and ceremonies. The earthy aroma helps to clear your mind so you can focus on important things. Use the bundle whole, or break it down to add the dried sage leaves to a dried herbs mixture.4” Palo Santo Smudge Stick: This “Holy Wood” has a sweet, woodsy aroma, and is perfect for spiritual cleansing. Rid your space of negativity and clear your mind before spellwork or prayers. Palo Santo is believed to encourage positivity, calm, and relaxation.

Our incenses are sourced sustainably and with respect to the lands they grow on. All incense is naturally grown and free of additives.

Salts

Dead Sea Salt: White salt is used for purification and protection. Add to water for its cleansing properties, or sprinkle around yourself before rituals. Line doorways and windowsills to block evil intentions from entering.Black Hawaiian Salt: Black salt is used for magical spells of warding, protection, and banishment. Some Wiccans make their own black salt from salt, burned charcoal, ashes, black pepper, and other ingredients they may want to include.Pink Himalayan Salt: Pink salt is used for spell casting, charms, and offerings to bring love, strengthen familial bonding, and to offer the Goddess.

A small bag of each is provided.

Pentacle Altar Tile

This ancient symbol represents power, magic, and connection to the elements and the divine. Many Wiccans use the plate to focus energies, cast protections, or to place offerings on the plate for their deities.

This tile is 3″ in diameter and made of aluminum.

The altar cloth is a great to mark a sacred space.

The waxing, full, and waning moons here represent Triple Moon Goddess and her 3 forms: the Maiden, Mother, and Crone. Inside the full moon is a pentagram; a symbol of power, magic, and connection to the elements and the divine.

This cloth is 24″ x 24″.
